words of advice
For those of you that don't already know, today, March 2nd, is voting day here in California.
As soon as Matlock is over, I plan to go vote. I have noticed that a lot of you younger folks don't vote.
Well, I vote. As do most of the folks in my generation. I've worked hard all my life to earn a decent retirement, so I'm going to do what I can as a citizen to protect the government from taking it away.
Education? Shucks! I got one foot in the grave already, think I care about these kids? That might take away from my social security! These kids are all stupid anyway. It's a lost cause.
Budget? Who cares about the stinkin' budget. I won't be alive to pay the consequences. I'll vote for the easiest solution that won't touch my social security or medicare.
Presidential candidate? Why, Bush, of course! I've been voting Republican for years. I'm a red-blooded, CHRISTIAN American, after all. "One nation under GOD" is our motto, isn't it?
Well I know a lot of you youngsters disagree with me. Sure, you all whine about it, but very few of you take action. That's why us older and wealthier conservative folks are running the country.
If you don't like it, vote.
